These three novels were publised by Penguin in 1985 & 1986.
The Talented Mr Ripley
First published 1955, published in Penguin Books 1974, this edition reprinted 1986.
Strangers on a Train
First published 1950, published in penguin books 1974, this edition reprinted 1985.
A Dog's Ransom

All three of these paperbacks are in good condition, with no loose pages, creases or tears. The pages are lightly tanned but the spines and bindings remain tight.
If you were only ever to read one Patricia Highsmith novel (and she was the author of 22 novels and many short stories), The Talented Mr Ripley is as good a psychological thriller as you will ever come across. But there is really no need to stop at just one. Ripley of course has recently been adapted by Netflixto fabulous reviews, and Patricia Highsmith's name is once more to the fore. This listingalso includes her first novel, Strangers on a Train, most notably adapted for film by Hitchcock in 1951. The third paperback included here is A Dog's Ransom - a dark satire on middle class life and it's underlying fragility. No spoilers but you can take a hint from the title.
All three of these are highly recommended and I would preferto sell them together with a good saving on combined shipping, but please feel free to enquire if you are only interested in one or two.
