A fabulous anthology of all things cloak and dagger, put together by the brothers Greene -  Hugh and his somewhat better known sibling, Graham -  and first published back in 1957.
This very collectable Folio edition is in mint condition and is as issued with tan endpapers and matching tan slipcase.  It is full cloth, blocked and printed with a design by Nick Hardcastle who also provided the 42 illustrations throughout the text. It comes with an introduction by Dame Stella Rimington, former Director General of MI5 and the first woman to hold that post.
This is an fascinating read that can be dipped in and out of at will. It is an unusual mix of fact and fiction by an intriguing collection of authors. 
Highly recommended for anyone with even a passing interest in the world of espionage.
