This special edition is in mint condition and looks to be unread. It is quarter bound in leather with four raised bands on the spine and with a tooled gold design repeated on the spine,  front cover and back cover. The text block is fully gilt-edged, which is the signature style of Franklin Press collectible books.

The book is divided into three sections:

Tales of the Grotesque and Arabesque, Tales of Horror and Suspense and Tales of Ratiocination. Illustrated by Harry Clarke, this edition is valued by collectors for its craftsmanship and attention to detail, making it a treasured item for Poe enthusiasts and book collectors alike.

Quite scarce in this edition and condition.
